Mahatma Gandhi is known throughout the world pioneer of non-violence movement. Gandhi revolutionized the idea that you can win without picking up enemy weapons. He started a number of hunger strikes and even vowed not to use any clothes, if the income from the British. Eventually, after years of struggle and work, the British empire left India defeat. Recently a man named Anna Hazare, has stuck to the same method to fight a variety of problems in modern India. Back in the early 1990s, Hazare took up the fight against alcohol, it was time sitting in unnecessary hardships. Lived in the village at that time followed his lead to ban all alcohol consumption. In recent decades, Hazare has taken a number of different things, but only recently has he started to get a lot of fame. He has started his battle against corruption in India. Corruption in India is a major problem for decades. It is a known fact that many government officials and employees in their daily way of living by supplementing their salaries with bribes. This varies according to local police, always high-level politicians. Hazare has begun hunger strikes and peaceful marches to bring attention to the problem. Poorer people in India is the one who suffers the most corruption, because they do not have the funds to corruption. This allows for a widening gap between the rich classes. Hazare has been on hunger strike on and off the last 12 months, that has a health risk.
Supporter Hazare has recently given him a pulse oximeter to monitor his health. Pulse oximeter, which is also known as pulse ox, is a medical device used to measure blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate of the individual. Since Hazare is in and out of jail and do not always have access to medical care, pulse oximetry has proven to be an excellent tool for him. It is small enough to carry around, and works with standard batteries.
Many of the supporters are happy to Hazare is known, he monitors his health, because business success depends on him to push further its growth. Pulse oximeter may seem like a small device, but it offers him the chance to communicate with his doctors, without leaving home.
That India is one of the most corrupt countries, is well known. This is perhaps the leader in missing money hidden in Swiss banks or in tax havens. After six decades of independence and phenomenal progress India has achieved in all areas of [manufacturing, healthcare, science and technology, education, etc.], the country is still below the poverty line and millions of poor quality of infra structure.
Corrupt politicians and the mafia, who are hand in hand with ruining the country. Pervasive corruption in daily life has reached such proportions that the life of ordinary citizens has become a nightmare. The sickeningly routine everyone sees the dawn of a new scandal. With free media, and their hard working employees are exposed to numerous scandals and published. Wily politicians and greedy bureaucracy have all available means to destroy (and the production of fake) documents and are geniuses kind in giving different spin on reality, and even managed to get off lightly. Democracy is kidnapped.
But then came a man, Anna Hazara, who captured the imagination of his compatriots and a new phenomenon occurred. He is 71 and weak character, not an imposing personality of its appearance. He could not afford to complete their school and had to leave after only 8 years old. He enlisted in the Army as a driver, saw action in 1965 and 1971 wars with Pakistan and India devoted to improve the poor situation of his native village "caliber Gaon Sidhe" then. And he did produce the miracle of his conversion affected by drought, poverty went to the village oasis corresponding to the water around, greenery and plenty of food and other crafts. With the tremendous power of persuasion organized the villagers to leave them indebted and lazy lifestyle, built a small dam in the right places to trap, what was already a crash. He never married, gave whatever was saving for the community. After 25 years of community is self-sufficient and proudly talks about his revered Anna, who does not own a house and stay in the temple.
But that's not the only thing he did. He declared war on corruption and organized various campaigns against some of the big names. The pressure brought on the government's home state soon saw six ministers forced to resign. He used the same weapon used by Mahatma Gandhi to fasting. He did achieve many successes.
Anna was aware that this is a huge task to get rid of such well-entrenched corruption from public life and often speaks about the change of the company itself. But he never preached violence, and all of his campaign was quiet.
